Elena and I went to the Sonoran Desert Museum on Saturday. It's a cool place that's a cross between a museum, aviary, and botanical garden. We enjoyed wandering around the desert a bit, and reading about the plants and animals. We didn't get to see everything though, because we had to go set up decorations for a single adult activity (as part of our callings as ward activity leaders.
Later that night Elena was super sweet and agreed to play Lego Star Wars with me.

Cool! Where is the Sonoran Desert Museum? You know the mission I served in was Hermosillo, Sonora. The desert and Sonora are great, but just wait 'til you come to the tropical paradise known as Houston!
The museum is west of Tucson, in the Tucson Mountain park.
